Gems have no currency value. Since we recognize how attached to their Gems our users have been, when you are transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, Gems will be converted to 1 Microsoft Point.

No credits or gems

You can only request a deposit at 1000 pending Credits or more (at 5000 you are automatically scheduled for a deposit). Since you were beneath 1000 pending Credits until March 6th when you got your February MyVIP payback, it would not have been possible
for you to request a deposit until that time. Pending Credits require one deposit cycle to process. A general rule of thumb is Credits pending on the 1st through 15th will be deposited in the end of month deposit. Credits pending on the 16th through the 31st
will be deposited in the mid-month deposit the following month. You can see when Credits are placed as pending on your MyStatement on the MyRewards page. Your Gems have all been placed into your account. Gems that come from you claiming a perk like your Golden
Child MyChallenge are labeled as claimed, since they must be manually claimed and are not placed automatically into your account.

So, a simple ratio should tell you 10000/500 = a gem is worth $20 and therefore a gem should be worth 20,000 Microsoft points.

Your math isn't quite right here... 10000 Gems = $500 -> 1 Gem = $.05

But still, after the conversion, 1 Gem = 1 Microsoft Point, 5000 Microsoft Point = $5 -> 1 Gem = $.001, which means Gems will be worth 1/50th the value as they would be at the highest tier of the vault (and 1/20th of the lowest tier, where 250 Gems = 5000
Xbox Live Rewards Points). So, the conversion should be at least 1 Gem = 20 Microsoft points.

So yeah, unless they change the conversion it seems to me like Microsoft is basically trying to devalue their rewards currency without paying out the prizes they've been teasing (everything is still out of stock unless you want to buy an Overwatch desktop
background) and screw all of their loyal customers.

Not exactly. If you keep the gems until the program switches to the Microsoft Rewards program, each gem will be transferred over as 1 Microsoft Rewards point (So you would get 1880 Microsoft Rewards points). Gems and Microsoft Rewards points don't actually
have a monetary value so it wouldn't be the same as $18.80.

Yes. If you still have gems left when the transition takes place, the gems will be added to your Microsoft rewards account as Microsoft rewards points.
