no matter what I do even if I change the settings or go in or out of game chat and party...

I don´t use party chat but I don´t have a problem with people who do. What´s the point in it? There are also a ton of parties that dont even talk about the game even when they all play it. If this people just wanna have a talk and play fine in a team without
any communication about the game, then let them do. Who cares? It´s their choice. I don´t go into parties and sometimes I change game settings to mute everyone cause I don´t feel like talking.

I let serious gamer do their business, let the causal gamers and gamer like me do what we like too

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues using the party chat feature of Xbox.

What model of the headset are you using?

As part of isolation, do you have a different headset that you can test?

Please make sure that your Xbox settings on your profile are configured properly. These communication settings can be adjusted to limit who you want to chat with.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system.

2. Select Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customise.

3. Select Communication & multiplayer, and then review the settings for the following to make sure that they are set to Friends or Everyone:

Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text

You can use video for communications

Note: If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in. If you want to join or start an Xbox party chat, disconnect from the Discord voice channel so that you can switch over to game or party chat. If you're still having issues, reset your audio settings to default:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output > Audio Testing & Details > Reset audio settings

If you want your friends to be heard on your stream>>first all you all have to be in a party. Secondly, people in your party have to enable their voice to be heard on your stream. This is if your using the app on your Xbox One. Now if your game chat
it would pick up with other people are saying in game chat.

Now this is what I found on Reddit:

If you're using a capture card and using a program for audio mixing or even straight into OBS/Xsplit you can go into your audio options under the XB1 settings and change party chat to broadcast through
headset and speakers. That changes the options for the party chat to your TV speakers and thus your capture card will be able to pick up ongoing party chat.

I found out that if you go to settings, power-up and start-up, and then change it to instant instead of energy-saving, the party chat issue was fixed.

network settings blocking party chat: I had this problem and know matter what settings I tried nothing happened but I figured the best thing to do is move all game saves to USB storage and go to settings and reset console choose the option to keep games
and apps to save you missing game time downloading them it will remove your profile just re-download when give the option and you will be good to go hope this helps oO W1lliam Oo
