Please verify if the purchase was successful by signing to account.microsoft.com > Payment and Billing > Order History > Select November 13 2023.

If you have confirmed the purchase, perform a power cycle on your console. Here is how: Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Then check if you will be able to install the game.

Aw okay. When I'm looking on the store the only version of MW3 avaliable is the cross-gen bundle. So I'm guessing there's no way to download the Xbox one version of the game on an Xbox series S. It feels a little bit like a scam calling it the Cross-gen bundle, as you would assume you get an xbox one and Series version of the game on purchase.

Not sure which content you mentioned that did not come with the game. But on the official website, it is mentioned that the skins were a " Benefit for Digital edition and pre-ordering " so the Bundle is only for it to be playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, so it is kind of the " normal " MW3 since it does not have a " lower " version, okay?
