No longer able to pin non-purchased games to store?

It seems that, after the August update, you are no longer able to pin non-purchased games in the Store to your Dashboard. I find that EXTREMELY disappointing and frustrating. Before the update, I would pin games I had yet
to buy, but was interested in, to my dashboard; as a sort of reminder, and an easy way to get to that game's page in the Store. It was convenient and simple. And now, after the update, there seems to be no way of doing
this anymore. There is no option on any game's page to pin it to home, nor can you do it by pressing the Menu button when you select the game. I searched and searched for a way to do this once
simple task, but without any luck. It seems that, for all intents and purposes, the only games you can pin are ones that you have purchased/ own. While this is a minor or non-existent problem for most, I was left feeling
agitated and regretful for having to download the update in the first place. That may seem silly, but it was a feature that I enjoyed and found useful. I know that this is an issue that will likely be
ignored and never be fixed, but I wanted to make this post just to see if anyone else felt the same as I did.

Day one xbox achievement

You would have to be able to view it in your achievements in order to pin it which is no longer possible.

no longer able to start game?

Try unplugging your console and replugging it in, or hold the power button on the console for a few seconds until it shuts off this is a hard reset and may fix your issues. If not, then try deleting and re-installing Minecraft

Very frustrating!!! I don't find it silly at all. I spent hours trying to figure this out as well. 90% of my pins were for games I wanted. Why else would we need to have over 2 dozen pins on the home page? I pin/play maybe 1 or 2 games at a time, and it
is useful for Hulu and netflix - but, other than that, it was all my "wishlist". Check this out though;

Check the store, you may be able to pin the game to home and/or launch it from the store page as a work around.

This does not exist. There its no option to block purchases with a pin code. You can only block log in to xbox live. We want kids to be able to log in to xbox live but not make purchases. Do you get this non kid having people stay out of these discussions

You would not be able to play it on PC. There was a Windows version of the game but it's no longer available for purchase since the GFWL store closed.
