No longer able to install games or updates online

Disc copies will install faster offline.

Disconnect from the internet, install the game. Then connect to the internet and install the updates.

The reason that it takes longer to install when you're online is because the ONE starts multi tasking and splitting resources between installing the game and downloading the updates at the same time.

I don't see what the issue would be without a hard drive, unless you're installing it, tho it may not be able to save game progress. I play reg Xbox games on my 360, from the disk, just note that there are no longer servers dedicated to them, as of April
2010, so you would not be able to play online, or online multiplayer for that matter. I hope that helps! =)

there was an update to CoD:MW, have you got that installed as well?

I'm not sure whether it updated those packs, but if it did, that could cause the game to no longer recognise that they are installed

I had the same thing happen to me with Fallout 4 installation.

What I do with new games when i'm trying to isntall them and they are playing up, is go offline (through your network settings), then install the game, then jump back online and install the updates. This should usually work.

I also then had the same issue with the update stopping, then going backwards. All I did there was leave it, eventually, after a lot of stopping and starting, it eventually installed. It just took a bit longer then normal was all, but still eventually finished.

With the new game, try the offline install then online update, and for the other the only thing I can suggest would be to leave it, even though it says the update has stopped, just wait and it should start back up
