    No longer able to capture game dvr


    I assume my problem stems from the last dashboard update, but can't say for certain, I am no longer able to capture game clips through the DVR menu, I have been through the procedures I found on the forums i.e. unchecking the "allow captures", power cycling
    the console then re enabling "allow captures" nothing changed my capture options are all greyed out. Please help No longer able to capture game dvr :) and if anyone else is experiencing the same let me know.

    Please extend the Xbox one broadcast and capture dvr.

    Please, I want the game dvr capture longer than 5 minutes! I make long gameplays on YouTube. And I need this for my subs. Please make the broadcast and capture dvr unlimited minutes. - Joseph Sanchez

    More time on Game DVR

    5 minutes is the longest length you can have using the game dvr.

    If you want to record longer videos you would need an external capture device.

    No longer able to capture game dvr

    You only get a certain amount of storage for captures so that may be full.

    Try deleting some older ones & see if that helps.

    Hi, you can use the xbox dvr but the length is short, if you want to record longer videos you'll need an external capture card. you can dowload the clips you record with the dvr with the xbox app on the pc or by uploading them on onedrive.
