    No install folders available using the xbox app for win10


    Tired of waiting hours to talk to a "virtual agent" so here I am.

    I've recently started trying the xbox app with the game pass, and nothing is working on it.
    When I try to sign in on the top left, or anywhere else on the app, nothing happens at all.

    When I try to install a game using the game pass on the app, it says "unkown available" where I would select a destination folder.

    Something I have noticed when I go to "xbox networking" under the system settings, I get the "Teredo is unable to qualify" and the server connectivity is "blocked"

    Things I've tried:

    Turned off AVS and windows firewall

    Reset/repair the xbox app and microsoft store

    Uninstalled/installed all the apps associated

    Changed where new apps download to under storage

    Windows update

    Different cmd prompt settings I've found online

    I'm probably missing some things I've tried where I've been through 3 different virtual agents that tell me to do one thing and restart just to lose all progress with that agent and start over lol...

    Anyone got any more things to try?

    Hi, I've just had this same issue, and with no idea why this error popped up, I contacted Microsoft support and a support agent got the app to work for me, I followed these steps.

    How to fix the error in the Xbox app when you can’t install or choose a drive or different drive from where you’d like to download/install a game



    Open: - “registry editor” and go to this path: -



    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xinputhid



    and delete the two folders: - “parameters” – “state” -

    now close regedit, and open up the "settings app", and go to "app's" - "installed apps" - "search apps" - enter "xbox" - now click on the three dots and click on "advanced options" - now click on "terminate" now once that's done click on "repair" - once that's done - click on "reset" - open the xbox app again and see if you can now select which drive to install you're game onto, apprarently this is a bug within Windows 11.

    If you don't want to follow these steps contact Microsoft through windows its self - click search and type in "get help"
