    Received x-box one console as a gift It was a bundle with Gears of war. went to redeem and no code for game. Only code was this
    [mod removed]. When I went to redeem it stated already redeemed for the game. Called support. Spoke with Tony who is walking me through this. The code was for the 14 day trial. There was no code to get the gear of war game. Its a defective
    bundle.. Need help with retrieving the game. Thank you

    no, because there is no point updating a game you don't have a license for, putting the disk proves the license.

    Where is the license transfer tool?

    License transfers will transfer licenses for all of your games. There is no way to transfer just one license. So if you use the transfer tool again, it will move your Rockband licenses as well.

    Be sure to check inside the box for any other codes, I know there is one pamphlet that includes two codes to redeem. If that wasn't included you'll need to reach out to the retailer you purchased from. We don't have any codes to offer as replacement here

    As GrimStreaker said, most downloaded content will not work offline on a different console and you will need to transfer the license.
