No game audio, but I have audio in the home menu and on TV apps

I have a very similar issue, no audio on the home screen and apps but game audio works fine. I find that everything works correctly when using my Xbox Wireless Headset, it's only when I turn the headset off and use the TV speakers that I have these issues. Other devices connected to my TV are fine (Blu-ray player and Nintendo Switch), it's only my Xbox Series X that has this problem. I have tried resetting my console (retaining games data) and it made no difference, if I don't figure this out soon I might do a complete factory reset and hope for the best. This started happening yesterday btw, August 25th.

Okay, a quick update as I have managed to fix the problem.

Turn off the console by holding down the power button (the one on the front of the actual console itself) for 10 seconds, this will 'power cycle' the Xbox. This alone is not enough so go a step further by unplugging the console from the power socket and waiting 30 seconds before plugging it back in. Now turn the Xbox on and it should be working correctly.

Same issues here. After playing a game I will lose audio on Home Screen and apps, only allowing audio through games. Also have had an issue with the opposite, where games have no audio and Home Screen/apps only work. Also have a Samsung smart TV, hopefully they fix this soon, tried everything. Seems to work only again after shutting everything down for 12+ hrs, just to go mute after playing a game again. Unplugged my TV for a couple mins and it seems to be working again, likely is a problem with the TVs.
