  1. No display on startup Xbox One

My Xbox One will not show anything on startup, it used to show the green loading screen, now it does not show anything. When I press the POWER button, its light turns on and makes its startup chime but no display on the TV, i have tried different HDMI cables and different monitor or TV. I have also tried every other way on the Xbox website to help but it won't work.( Please note that : I cannot connect wirelessly or with a wire to a controller to the Xbox when it is one without display obviously . The button of the controller will just flash , this controller works on my PC via Bluetooth. Any recommendation? many thanks

    :)

I don't know what model of Xbox One you have, but if it's a new generation and it's under warranty, the ideal thing would be to send it to Microsoft.

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is Welcome to the community.

Hello ColdestSpy60939, try to follow the procedures below.

    Bind Eject Xbox One

Turn off the console and unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely turned off.

Wait 30 seconds and plug the power cord back in.

Hold down the BIND (located at the bottom front of the console) and EJECT (located on the front of the console) and press the Xbox button on the console.

NOTE: Bind is the pairing button of the control.

Continue by pressing the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10 to 15 seconds.

Listen to the two tones of "activation", with a few seconds of difference between them.

Release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second activation tone.

If your console is the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, it doesn't have the EJECT button.

You can turn on Xbox Startup Troubleshooting on this console by keeping only the BIND button and then pressing the Xbox button.

When you're on the recovery screen, choose the "Reset while keeping games and Apps" option.

    Note:

-You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

-No data or game save will be lost doing this, everything is done in backup to the cloud servers.

If it does not return to normal after this procedure, proceed with an offline update.

    Perform an offline system update

Hello Georges, thanks for quick reply. Unfortunately, it did not work. What I did:

-Turn off the console and unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely turned off. Wait 30 seconds and plug the power cord back in.

    - Hold down the BIND and EJECT buttons and press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Xbox button lights up (white) and chime can be heard.

    - kept holding down bind+eject for 15 sec

    - did not hear any tone of "activation. What does it sound like?

Also, if I switch on a remote controller, its Xbox button keeps flashing.

And, if I turn on the console by pressing the Xbox button, nothing happens and the console switches off on its own after maybe 20-30 sec.

    Thanks

    Vince

I understand, and unfortunately this model has also been discontinued and no longer has the paid repair service.

    You can try technical assistance.

It is a Xbox One S (bought in 2017), no more warranty.
