    No controller response after console streaming session


    Hello!

    Today I ran into an issue where after playing around with console streaming and xCloud streaming, coming back to console streaming caused my controller inputs other than the guide button not to work. I tried restarting my phone, the controller and the stream to see if it would fix the issue but to no avail.

    When I got home I found that my controller connected directly to the Xbox One X was having the exact same issue. Ultimately hard rebooting the console fixed the issue.

    I submitted feedback to the streaming app as well as on the console. I wasn't sure if this was something other people had experienced.

    i just tried connecting both xbox and laptop directly to the isp router, using the beta app. same problem, i sent a feedback while NOT streaming (because else I can't access the functionality), but just after a streaming session

    there is a current known bug that shuts off console during stream session using a webcam, streaming without the camera it should be ok until a fix. we think that it must have happened during a previous update.

    other than this be sure your xbox is plugged into the main wall outlet and not an extension, and make sure the console is well ventilated.

    If the controller goes back to normal (non-laggy) responsiveness after the console wakes, there's probably nothing to worry about. The delay is likely the controller and console reinitializing the wireless connection once the console goes back into active
    use.

    When the screen dims after the console hasn't received any input, it will eventually turn off the controller to save batteries. The controller will need a second to re-sync once you get back on.
