No Controller input on title screens

same input problems, and also the screen flickering with controller connection here.

Once the issue begins I cant navigate to the app through the console. As the automatic inputs prevent me from navigating down to accessories. It does do it with multiple controllers however.

I've tried syncing a second controller and even with it, it still auto inputs A on certain screens.

and just to clarify, the game isn't frozen. the splash screen animations are playing, it notices if a controller is unplugged. its just not accepting input.

At the title screen where it asks you to "press x" to begin, first make sure you have a profile by pressing x with each controller and selecting a favourite category to create a profile. Then return to the title screen and in the top left corner of the screen
it should read "press square to join". Every player should press square on their respective controllers and the "multiple controllers" option will now be available in game.

I did a full reset of the console and there is still 0 action on menus an in games with both Elite Series controllers Ive tried. Both controllers register input in test screen as well.
