    Anyone else have a connection problem this morning? I'm on the Alpha Skip ahead ring.

    I think my Series X got an update last night, as the power button flashed for a while after turning it off. This morning, I have the "Connect to Xbox live" icon on the home screen as if there's no internet connection. It's a wired connection, and all other devices in the house are fine, including other xboxes not in the insider program.

    When I go to the network screen, running connection tests say that I'm connected to the internet, and that there are no issues with my multiplayer connection. And yet, it says "Status unknown" on the right hand side (or some variation, I'm not in front of it right now) , and the home screen still shows as offline (no ads, "connect to xbox live", etc). Nothing will play content.

    I've done a couple of hard resets. My "settings" app will not even load, so I can't see if checking for updates will work. I'll check it again after work, but I suspect I might just have to do a USB recovery, but wondering how wide spread this might be, or if I was just unlucky.

    Okay please read the whole paragraph before reply, this issue is very funky and specific.

    Thanks to THX1138 for the information will know this morning if the dash update fixes this issue.

    Now realize for those that are not alpha skip ahead, that this fix will eventually make its way down to alpha etc and finally retail.
