No code for Groove Music promotion

Hey there Lord Killer 69.

Really sorry to hear about the frustrations and confusion with the promotion. Unfortunately Groove Music is sunsetting in December, this means the service is coming to an end. Because of this we no longer have codes to provide, as they are no longer usable.

I signed up mid May, using the Groove app on my Windows Phone.

For this, you would see an email sent to the Email address associated with your Microsoft Account. You'll want to check that, be sure to look at your spam folders as well, sometimes the codes get treated as such and end up there.

How and on what date did you sign up for this promo offer exactly? Based on that, the way the code is sent can vary. For example, if you signed up on the website, the code would be sent to your email address on file with your Microsoft account and if you
signed up on the Xbox One console, the code would be delivered to your message center.

From the Terms of Service for that Groove promotion:

During the first 30 days, customer will receive a promo code for 3 months of Groove Music Pass at no charge. Upon completion of the promotional period, membership will be automatically
billed as specified at signup unless cancelled. Limit 1 promo code per customer, single use only, Promo code must be used by December 29th, 2016.

If after 30 days from starting your subscription you don't have your code yet, feel free to post a new thread and we'll take a look. Thanks!
