    Cloud Saves : Backward Compatibility : Syncing issues between Xbox One and XBox 360

    Hello,

    I am enjoying using the backward compatibility feature on my Xbox One console to play Xbox 360 games.

    The only option when playing backward compatible games is to save to Cloud storage.

    When I last booted up my Xbox 360 and started a game, it triggered a sync of cloud storage. This took a while and it came

    with an error message that it failed and to free some space on the cloud.

    I wish to keep the game saves of my backward compatible games I am playing but see no option of where to store them

    other than the Cloud storage.

    Question : Is it possible to use a USB stick on my Xbox One to store backward compatible game saves ? If so, I could transfer

    saves from the cloud to USB.

    Seems odd that Xbox One only allows saves to Cloud storage (for backward compatible games) and the limit you can store

    is greater than allowed on the Xbox 360. Thus, when syncing on Xbox 360 you get an error you are out of space !!!!

    In this situation, no alternative location seems to be available to transfer the Xbox One cloud saves in order to free space.

    Need help transferring save

    So I am trying to move my save files from my Xbox Original Game on my 360 to my Xbox One. The game is backwards compatible on Xbox One so that isn't the issue. After talking with support they said I need to use the cloud so I activated it and when I went
    to transfer my save file on my 360 to the cloud, there was no option for me to move it, only delete. Apparently the support people were puzzled by this, has anybody else had this issue? What do I do?

    Just remember, if you start a game on the 360 with the original version of Morrowind, and then pick up the GOTY edition, unlike on the original Xbox, on the 360 they are not compatible. The GOTY edition will NOT recognize original edition saves, on the 360.
    Unless you live overseas, it would probably be cheaper to pick up a used original xbox, than a hard drive for your 360, just to play this game.

    Thanks for the info, how did you save the game on Xbox 360 originally? How did you move the save to the cloud? Did you "Copy" the save or "Move" the save to the cloud?

    Did you have your Xbox One console offline while you played, before you moved the save to the cloud?
