I'm sorry you are experiencing issues playing FC25.

May I ask when did you install this game? The full version of EA FC25 has not been released as part of the Game Pass Ultimate catalog. Currently, the only ways to play this game with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription are 1) Using EA Play's 10-hour trial or 2) Downloading EA FC25 Showcase.

This game was just recently featured in Xbox "Free Play Days", which allowed Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and Core members to try the full version of EA FC25 and other EA games from Thursday January 16 at 12:01am Pacific until Sunday, January 19 at 11:59 Pacific.

If you downloaded the game during its "Free Play Days", it would explain why you are only able to play EA FC25 Showcase now.

The only way to appeal a denied refund is to respond to the email you receive informing you of the refund denial, by replying to that email you must explain the situation in detail and request the refund again. I understand that you are experiencing freezing issues with your game FC25.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please restart the game by pressing the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select the Home option to return to the main dashboard.

Highlight FC25 in your game library.

Press the button with three horizontal lines and select Quit to close the game completely.

Launch the game again and see if the freezes are gone.

And then check for game updates. FC25 should be updated to the latest version. To do this, go to My games & apps > See all > Updates and check for updates.

Next is to powercycle your Xbox. Turn off your console and unplug the power cable. Wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn on the console.

Kindly reduce graphics settings too because high graphics settings can cause performance issues. Reduce the graphics settings in the game to see if it improves stability.

Then close the other games and apps that might be running in the background.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, uninstall and then reinstall FC25. This can help resolve any corrupted files from the game.

I don't have FC25, so I can't really comment on it. I've only played FC24 and some of the FIFA games through EA Play.

One thing I will say is that I've noticed EA sports games initially seem much worse than the previous titles. It usually takes them a while (multiple updates/patches) to address any issues with rendering, stuttering, graphics/resolution, inaccurate player details, etc. I've seen reports saying that this specific game isn't optimised well on Series X|S.

FC25 is likely going to be added to EA Play sometime around May/June as that's when the previous ones were. So if you don't feel like purchasing the game and you have EA Play, you can always just wait a few more months to play it for free
