No barriers setting

If I choose No Barriers on my XBOX One but my son and I sometimes game share will he be able to access my account to make purchases? Im hoping to leave it at No Barriers BUT maybe set a password where he can't make changes or purchases. Thank you in advance.

I do have my account to ask for my password EVERY log in. I think it asks whenever i go to change settings or make purchases.

Does he play own his own account with different settings or your account?

If he has access to your account unfortunately, no barries allow users to spend money without any restrictions.

If your worried about security but do not want to enter the password every time you can

opt to choose the next level up which requires a passkey

The passkey is a series/sequence of buttons on the consoles controller rather than your Microsoft account password

This allows for a form of security without the extended hassle of entering your password every time

Disregard previous statement. I found lockdown in the Xbox One setting on the console. No, that is unfortunately not the issue, my account is set to "No Barriers".
