    No Audio with headphones and Series X.


    I have tried almost everything. I just bought this Xbox today. I know that my headphones work because they work with my computer. The issue I am having is that the headphone jack is plugged into the controller, and there is no audio coming through my headset. I have updated the controller, I've done the trick that all of the mods tell you to do like turning off the xbox unplugging it from the wall etc. I am getting really frustrated.

    If I'm not mistaken, your headset came with a volume/mute control module that needs to be plugged in via USB. Are you, by any chance, using it with your console?

    Hey! I have tried all of these methods, and still no sound. Mysteriously, when I was playing a madden game, I heard the voice chat, but not the game sound or the Xbox menu sounds.

    I am using HyperX Cloud II, and I am currently not using an adaptor. I just have the audio jack plugged in, and yes I have checked the headsets volume!
