Video and Audio Delay HELP!

Sky HD box to Xbox One input, xbox output to tv. no splitters. I have no external sound system so delay is on hdmi audio. Sky HD direct to TV has no audio/video sync issues, audio delay is only present with Xbox one in the circuit.

Xbox one audio will not work anymore

Out of no where 2 weeks ago the audio just stopped working on my Xbox one. My astros a50 work on my PC with no problem and they use to work with the xbox one no problem. Now I can't even get audio at all no matter what I try. I can still chat and hear my
friends and they can hear me. But the sound part for games isn't working. Everything is plugged in right I know how to do that. Is the Xbox one audio dead or something? My headset works fine so it must be the xbox one or maybe i'm missing something here?

Try clearing cache.
Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

Hello Patty!

If it's asking that question, it means that you held the Guide button down too long.

If you were to just tap it, it should bring up the Guide and then you would have to go ahead and scroll to the right until you get to the little gear icon denoting "System" and then go to "Settings", then to Display & Sound.

If you do have problems with audio on the console, we do have some troubleshooting steps here on

Troubleshoot sound on your Xbox One console.

Give that information a look through and let us know if that helped out with the issue

Are any of you able to get audio from it? I plugged my Xbox One stereo headset into my controller but no audio and no way to routing audio to it, is there supposed to be software to control it?

My set up will be:

Cable Box HDMI out to Xbox One HDMI IN, Xbox One HDMI out to Receiver HDMI In, Receiver HDMI out to TV HDMI in, Receiver Audio out to Speakers

So the Cable audio/video goes to the Xbox One, Xbox One send that and/or it's audio/video to the Receiver, Receiver sends video to TV and audio to Speakers

It seems like that's what you're describing, so I'm not sure why you think audio is being left out anywhere.

ive tried to put the audio into the tv audio on my tv then the usb into the xbox one but im not getting any sound

I have been having a similar problem with audio pops and crackles.

When I have my Xbox One connected to my TV with an HDMI cable and my surround sound receiver plugged into my TVs optical out port the audio pops and crackles (only from the Xbox One, not from any other audio source going into my TV and out to the receiver.)
Yet if I plug my receiver directly into the Xbox's optical port the audio plays normally with no distortion whatsoever. I even tried replacing the HDMI cord but got no results that had no popping or crackling in the audio. Hence leading me to believe that
the HDMI port on the Xbox one is having trouble sending audio to the TV through its HDMI cord as I even tested each of my 4 HDMI in ports on my gaming TV and my living room TV that achieved the same exact popping and crackling audio issues.
