No audio on game capture clips Xbox Series X

For the past few days every time I record a game clip on Warzone there’s no sound to the clips. I go on the Xbox app and there’s a sad face over the video, download it and there’s no sound?

Thank you for your response. Below are the settings that allowed me to have audio in my DVR recordings, using an Xbox Series X and my own television. I recorded clips from various games and all clips had game audio.

First, please make sure that your console is completely updated. Go to Settings > System > Updates to get the latest firmware.

Audio Settings:

General > Volume & Audio Output

Speaker Audio:
- HDMI Audio
  - 7.1 uncompressed
Headset Audio
- Headset format
  - Windows Sonic

Advanced > Additional options

No boxes checked
Party chat options set to Headset & speakers

Preferences > Capture & share

Capture
- Allow game captures > captures by me or games
- Record what happened > 30 seconds
- Automatically upload > Captured by me
- Game clip resolution > 1080p SDR (1 minute max)
- Capture location > Internal storage

1. Close the app from the recent applications menu.

2. Restart your phone.

3. Clear the app cache. Go to Settings > Apps, select the app, then select Storage > Clear cache.

4. Clear the app storage, then try again. Go to Settings> Apps, select the app, then select Storage > Clear storage.

5. Uninstall and reinstall. Press on the app icon until you get the option to Uninstall. Then reinstall the app from the Play Store.
