NO AUDIO & NOT ABLE TO SPEAK THRU HEADSET

I HAVE A XBOX A10 HEADSET. I CANNOT HEAR OR TALK TO MY FRIENDS.

ON THE SCREEN THERE IS A PICTURE OF A MIC WITH A LINE THRU IT.

I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO FIX THIS USING VARIOUS SO-CALLED SOLUTIONS.

I DID NOT PAY $100 FOR A HEADSET TO NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT.

IT'S GETTING RIDICULOUS NOW.....

PLEASE FIX THIS!!

game audio through controller/headset

It's a headset for voice chat, but I think this guy is talking about gaming headsets, where both voice chat and game audio come thru.

 

Logitech g933 wireless headset

anyone know how to get the audio from the Xbox to play thru the Logitech G933 headset. Plugged in the USB dongle and paired it to the headset but doesn't work?

a compatible headset to Xbox One and
Xbox One controller and headset compatibility.

If
the issue persists, Try this:

• Have you
  updated your controller’s softwareto
  support the Stereo Headset ?
• Make sure your controller has fresh batteries. When the batteries get weak, some controller functions,
  such as audio and rumble, are turned off to conserve the remaining power.
• If you are using a Headset Adapter, Make sure it is firmly plugged into your controller and that your
  Stereo Headset’s 3.5-mm cable is securely plugged into the Headset Adapter. You will know it’s plugged in properly if you press the mute button and the LED lights up.
• Try
  your Xbox One Stereo Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working. If not, the headset will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
  Xbox Online Service Center.
• Try
  your Stereo Headset and Stereo Headset Adapter on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
  updating the first controlleragain.
  If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
  Xbox Online Service Center.
