No Audio at all

Discus and support No Audio at all in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have double checked my computers (WIN 8.1) audio levels and sounds are played. Sounds play in other apps/games.     No Audio at all


    I have double checked my computers (WIN 8.1) audio levels and sounds are played. Sounds play in other apps/games. But no sounds are heard in Reckless Racing Ultimate. How can I fix? I have the paid version, 1.4.0.1 installed.

    Mic produces no audio at all but white noise...

    So I was playing a game with my friend and out of nowhere the game and chat audio cut out... I'm using a turtle beach x12 headset with the adapter for the xbox one controller and when I unplug the USB cable for the headset (plugged into the xbox) I can hear
    the transition from quiet, white noise to nothing at all. I tried switching batteries, updating my controller, unplugging and plugging in almost anything that can be plugged in and I still don't understand the problem. The mute button in the center works because
    it lights up, but that seems to be it. The headset is my only source for audio because I play on a computer monitor and I don't really feel like spending money (on a new controller or adapter or whatever) because Microsoft has ripped me off way too many times....
    Please help!

    Hey there SnarfCreamDream!

    I'm sorry to hear about the controller issues. After reading through your post, I want to suggest a couple things. If you haven't already, would you be able to try a different controller? Also, give a power cycle a shot.

    • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
    • Unplug the power cable from the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug in and power on the Xbox One console.
    • Verify if the issue is resolved

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Since this is happening with more than one headset, let's make sure it's not software related by performing a

    factory reset     on the console. (While keeping your games and apps)

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console.

    No audio all of a sudden

    Xbox One was working fine, now all of a sudden there is no audio on any game or DVD/blue ray disc. I have unplugged, switched HDMI cords and ports, tried a different TV, and done a hard reset of the Xbox to no avail. Anyone?

    Kindly answer to the following questions:

    1. Are you using Digital Optical Audio or Normal Stereo output.

    2. Audio is not working in games alone or whole xbox audio.

    3. If you're using digital audio output kindly change the output options like Dolby Surround, Dolby bitstream or Stereo Compressed.

    Why can I hear party chat but absolutely nothing else?

    just to check, you have moved the game audio/chat audio slider to the left slightly. having it all the way to chat will cut all other audio.
