    I've been troubleshooting this issue for maybe an hour and a half now, i bought Fallout 4 GOTY edition through the Xbox app on pc, and i have not been able to launch it, constantly getting the no applicable app licenses message, I've tried all of the solutions I've seen on reddit, and all the solutions I've seen in old posts on here and nothing is working. I have also checked for game updates, windows updates, Xbox app updates, and Microsoft shop updates, and got nothing.

    I saw this list on an old post, and i have tried all of these things, and have no idea where to go next. All of my games and apps work except fallout 4.

    Re-register Windows Store Apps:

    • Press Windows Key + S and type PowerShell.
    • Right-click on Windows PowerShell and choose Run as administrator.
    • In the PowerShell command window, type the following command and hit Enter:

    • Restart your computer.
    1. Reset Microsoft Store Cache:
      • Open the Settings app (press Windows Key + I).
      • Go to Apps > Apps & features.
      • Scroll down and find the Xbox app.
      • Click on it and select Advanced options.
      • Click Repair to fix any issues with the app.
    2. Logout and Login on Xbox App:
      • Sign out of the Xbox app and then sign back in.
    3. Install Updates:
      • Make sure you have the latest updates for Microsoft Store, Xbox, and related programs
    4. - Repair Xbox App:

      - Open the Settings app (press Windows Key + I).

      - Go to Apps > Apps & features.

      - Scroll down and find the Xbox app.

      - Click on it and select Advanced options.

      - Click Repair to fix any issues with the app.
    5. - Reset Microsoft Store Cache:

      - Sometimes cache issues can cause licensing problems. To reset the Microsoft Store cache:

      - Press Windows Key + R, type wsreset.exe, and hit Enter.

      - Wait for the process to complete, then try launching the game again.

      - Logout and Login on Xbox App:

      - Sign out of the Xbox app and then sign back in. Sometimes refreshing your login can resolve licensing issues.

    I see. In this case, it would be necessary to re-register the Microsoft Store. Follow these steps:

    1. On the Start Menu, search for PowerShell.

    2. Right-click on PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

    3. In the PowerShell window, type this command and press Enter:

    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    4. Restart the computer.

    5. Check if the game is now working.

    I just tried, followed with a PC restart and the same error still occurs. Though I thankyou for the response!

    After doing a Windows Update as there was nothing on Microsoft Store that needed updating, I then restarted my computer and checked for updates again, there was another so I did that also and then restarted. Then checked and it was empty, so I did the PowerShell again and then got this error.
