No 4% for game purchase

i have a rank 2 vip. It states that i should be getting 4% back on my purchases. But despit buying a multitude of games over the padt two years some costing £80 £90+ i dont think ive seen a penny of that 4%. I always get the usual £3.75 every three months
or so when my points reach 5000 i think it is. For example in one three month period i spent like over £200 thats like £8 i should of seen but didn't.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as mentioned in our pinned announcement at the top of the forums titled "HEY
YOU! We've got your answer here." (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/2f5ffacb-bf1e-4fca-8764-f57f69556e55), we no longer award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals
as of July 2014.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

i was in my xbox rewards account and seems none of my purchases have ever got any points. there has been nothing at all since i joined the reward scheme. i have been getting regular emails telling me i have earned nothing whatsoever. i cant remember ever
having any points show up in rewards. Which made me think whats the point of a reward scheme when you spend a small fortune on xbox consoles, accessories and games and stay loyal to your products (not to mention the fact games now with all the rip off dlc
season passes cost near enough 3x what they used too !!!!) and then to find out all my purchases are valid or is it just a massive joke to make us jump through hoops for literally nothing

 

On the MyRewards section of the site you will find your statement. It should automatically show any pending credits you have, but there is a dropdown menu just under the heading. Change it to show lifetime credits earned and it will show you everything you've
earned credits for. VIP rebates would be listed on the last date of each month you earned them on.

You can see a complete history of your Credit and deposit events from the MyStatement on the MyRewards page. You can then use the dates listed for your deposits to see their deposit as currency from your commerce page at (Sign in to your Microsoft account),
where they will be listed as a refund with a negative amount. Note that consumables and pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, as stated in the FAQ. We see multiple MyVIP paybacks in your account history.
