No 3 month live or GTA code

I saw the advertisement for the 3 months of gold for 40% off that came with the bonus code for GTA bucks, yet when i purchased my gold through that link i only got gold for a month and a half, and no GTA code. Was told to post about it here and reference [Mod

Wrong promotion

I purchased xbox live 3 month subscription along with GTA 5 shark card code as a promotion and I never received it in received a code for minecraft instead....I have not used the code for minecraft because I rather have the GTA 5 promotion instead.

3 month gold 40% discount plus get a code for $500,000 in GTA Online.

I purchased 3 months of Xbox live for £2 which included a code for $500,000 in GTA Online. I purchased this on the 19th of September and I'm told I only have received one month of Xbox Live instead of 3 and haven't received the $500,000 GTA Online code yet.
Not happy. Have also had 3 different conversations with tech support and they haven't been able to solve my problem. However the final one directed me here in hope that a promotional specialist will respond to this.

Depending on where/how you bought 3 months Xbox Live Gold, you don't get a code for Rocket League.

If you bought the 3 months Xbox Live Gold through your console, you should get the game added automatically to your account. Simply download it.

If you bought 3 months in an (online) store, you get the code either printed on the receipt, or via mail from the store. In that case, you'll need to contact the store from which you bought the 3 month code for the Rocket League code.

Does it have to be 3 month code?
