NFL 2k5 won't play on my 360, can I update my console in 2023 through Xbox live so it will...

Ok thanks.. I would just play it through my original Xbox but it freezes up after I play one game into a new season on franchise mode..

That game was not made backwards compatible so there's no update that will make it work on a 360.

I can bet anything the next 2k NFL title will just suck just as bad as all pro football.... everybody seems to forget they have made a Football game Recently and just jump on 2k5 as the last game. 2k5 > madden 05 and best NFL game of "The Time"... Madden

I also play a lot of original Xbox games on the Xbox 360. The problem with some of these is that when they were ported over to the 360, a few (usually minor) glitches sometimes form. This could be a variety of things from the music not playing corrextly
in the intro (NFL 2k5) or the graphics not showing up correctly on the menus. Sometimes just trying to play the same part over will help work out these kinks and others are just the problems associated with old Xbox games on the 360...my suggestion would be
to try the original disc (if you can find one). You won't lose your save info as long as you store your saves to yoyr hard drive...

bugs but so does every other that comes out. It's a game, get over it and play it or don't play it and go pick up a copy of 2k5.
