Next wave of backward compatible games?

Has anyone heard of an ETA on the next wave of backward compatible releases? First wave, at least for me, was hit or miss, but the next wave hinted at a bunch of games i've been itching to get back into. I could have sworn I remember reading December, but
we're halfway through the month without an update. Hopefully the second wave drops soon!

Hi there,

the only thing that was mentioned was that there will be a games added started December, so could be any day now. Other then that there hasn't been any announcement yet.

The only comment (either Hryb or Ybarra on Twitter, or maybe both) has been "we're still going to add games this month", but nothing more concrete than that...

 

Yeah that was the article I saw. Really looking forward to sinking into Bioshock again, loved that series. Really hoping we get something this month, the nostalgia is all too much!

 

That 7 pack should be out any time now. They said "soon" for them games right after the 100 pack dropped. Seems like Microsoft hyped up backward compatibility since early part of the year during E3 and took forever to get the big 100 pack released. Thought
we be getting a small list weekly or twice a month minimum. December is half over already.

Then I will sell my ps4 and buy xbox one if they release some of thesedecent games

 

Well, they just released another batch, and honestly it looks like a total flop, short of a few maybe (at least in my opinion). Oh well, guess I'll go back to the waiting game

 

Just checked my games Fable III, Hydro Thunder, Motorcross Madness,Halo Reach are new in my install playlist besides Sacred 3 and Thief for this month with games with gold.

 

do they have to be on a download? OR can you just slap in a 360 game??

 

If you own the disc the XBOX1 will download them yet.

 

How do I get portal? It keeps saying bundle only.

 

If you own the disc of a supported 360 game for backwards compatibility you can insert the disc that will trigger the download for the game, when installed you can play that speed game as long as the disc is inserted

 

It'll take time guys. You have to realize it's based on the publishers, and they are most likely why it's taking so long. We'll see more games eventually.
