Next Gen Dashboard overhaul! Had this dashboard since 2013 and enough is enough now!

Yep, I've had this happen twice now with the Preview Dashboard. I also use to get this a lot with the Launch version of the Dashboard but was fixed a few Updates later.

I guess it's back again. I would suggest the next time it occurs to use the Report a Problem Feature from the Preview Dashboard and every time it occurs to help MS gather enough information on the Dashboard to why it is doing this.

Could you check which powermode you're Xbox is on ? Instant on mode tends to give issues with games not launching so if it's set to
instant on try changing it to Energy saving mode instead. You can find out how to do that via this link https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/learn-about-power-modes

If those settings are all correct and you're still having issues signing in then I suggest removing your account and redownloading it. Just follow the steps provided on this page

[/quote]I'll probably pick up the next gen consoles if they're any good. My PC is pretty high end at this point so any further upgrading or buying any new parts isn't required for at least a few years. I'll probably hold
off even considering buying next gen consoles until at least 6 months into release to see how they go.

I'll always have multiple systems as long as they all have some exclusives. Plus I'll have friends on the consoles too that I'll probably want to play with. One things for sure though, Gaming PCs aren't going anywhere.
Valve especially has pushed to make PC Gaming into a solid market and to make it as easy as possible to get into. Big Picture being to latest addition. And my guess, based on the rumours of Valve doing something hardware related, is some kind of official "Steam
Controller".

Allow Free to Play on their console. It's a growing market and MS would do well to get involved now and reap the benefits. Even Nintendo have said they're allowing it on the Wii U.

Push Digital Distribution. Games on the same day as release and be able to pre-order and pre-install like Steam. Have competitive pricing and make sue that a game that's 4 years old isn't still at launch price. And a big
sale or two every now and again.

And hopefully make it easier and cheaper for small dev teams or indie devs to jump in with their small titles. These guys are the few who actually experiment with new game mechanics and we've had a few hits on the PC.
I'm hoping this market will eventually grow to the point where they'll be somewhere in-between AAA and indie. A middle class I suppose.

I have to say this about PC though, sometimes it is a pain to get a game to work, especially older ones. It's also a bit bothersome to have to upgrade something every 3 to 4 years, so PC gaming takes a lot of commitment. For some people consoles will just
be easier to use, if that makes sense but I agree with your points. The next gen XBL service definitely will allow free to play games, they can't ignore the success of titles like League of Legends. They also will have to get onboard with day one digital
releases.
