    Newly bought xbox controller out of warranty


    Hi, i recently bought an Xbox controller from a retailer here in India, known as Flipkart.

    The controller is in a good condition. However when registered for warranty. The warranty shows that it has expired on 12th March 2023.

    Is there any way to update the warranty?

    In order to fix this, you will need to contact Microsoft Xbox Support as they have the tools to adjust the warranty on your controller. You can contact them here at this link:

    You will also need to provide your proof of purchase/receipt of the controller.

    Have you checked in the Xbox Accessories app if the newly bought controller has the most up to date firmware? Maybe the controller was sitting on a store shelf for a long time, and missed several firmware updates.

    The virtual assistant only prompts to keep purchase receipt and serial number ready and then proceeds to arrange for callback which fails. There is no option to create a ticket.
