Newest System Update

Hey guys, the newest system update did not make me happy. When I went to turn on my One this morning, it forced me to completely reset and start over like I had just got it. I later found out that others were experiencing this issue because there was something
wrong with the newest system update (did this happen to anyone else?).

Microsoft, what the heck?! Why would you release a system update with a bug like that? I mean don't get me wrong, my games and apps can be downloaded again, but the time. I have always remained a loyal customer over the years, but its getting harder
to stay that way. I hope they plan to reward their loyal and patient customers in some way.

Just wanted to see if anyone else shared my frustration.

Thanks guys. To say the download size was that big, I was expecting a bunch of new options but I wont moan. Can you imagine the size of the download when they get round to dashboard customization

Like you said, you've lost nothing other than everything that you can re-download, all of which can be done overnight.

Its the principle of the matter. How does Microsoft expect to keep loyal customers by pulling stunts like this? I am seriously considering switching to the PS4 and back to Sony (was a huge PS2 fan). Thats the issue, they should be much better to their customers,
especially ones that have been with them since the beginning. Besides, download time is not that great even with the best speed. It took me nearly two weeks to re-download all my games (including DLC) and apps. Would you want to wait two week to play games
you already had payed for and downloaded? Microsoft gave no warning that the new system update would cause such a inconvenience to their customers and so far has offered nothing but I'm sorry, we'll fix it (which from what I've seen on other discussion boards,
people are still having the same issue). Not good enough. Thats my point, I'm not concerned with getting money for myself, but I do think some sort of award for all loyal customers would be fair. I don't know, a unique avatar item, unique backdrop, profile
pictures, a little Microsoft money (20$ tops), for everybody. Customer service should be much better than it is.
