    Newest generation of xbox controllers consistently disconnecting from pc for no reason


    I just bought a Xbox series x controller for my pc a day ago and as the title says it constantly disconnects from the pc now before you suggest anything ive tried the following

    Connected through usb c and updated the firmware

    updating my windows 10

    disabling my bluetooth and reenabling

    Using the MICROSOFT controller dongle (its not broken ive used it for a 360 and xbox one controller just fine)

    Reinstalling motherboard bluetooth/wireless drivers

    there is an issue with the firmware there is no issue on my end especially with the other 3 xbox controllers still working with my pc even my old ass xbox 360 elite controller is still kicking and working just fine. id love to hear from someone from microsoft but they keep giving me the run around any help would be appreciated. and no im not buying another controller theres hundreds of people having the same issue and Microsoft is just ignoring them and im also not playing with it wired because whats the point when i can just return it and get a cheaper wired controller

    Playing the division on PC , its the only game that for some reason my controller disconnects from. Maybe its just Xbox controllers in general?

    it never happened while i played Xbox before i started using it as a PC controller

    Controller disconnects while playing

    I don't have Destiny but I play Titanfall and yes the controller keeps disconnecting for me too and I am sitting literally 2 meters away from the Xbox and in line of sight, there is no reason for it to disconnect, might I add the Xbox 360 never had any problem
    ever with controller disconnecting!

    I would consider checking your console. I just replaced mine due to irreparable excessive noise and constant disconnecting from my wireless...If your controllers are having a consistent problem then it may not be the controllers themselves. If you have a
    friend you can borrow from try their controllers on your console.

    Also have the same disconnecting issues lately with xbox live and msnenger.. more often with messenger. I will try the port forwarding method and get back to this thread in few days.
