Newer Reward crdits getting used first.

I am getting rewards deposited into my account just fine, but when I purchase something newer reward dollars are being used first leaving my older points at risk for expiration. I recently(a few weeks ago) got $10 credit deposited and spent over $10. The
new credit was used first instead of $2.90 that will expire soon. Why wasn't the year old money used first? Do I have to spend 100% for older money to get used? When i deposited the $10 it said it would expire a year from that date(2019). Now I have a few
weeks left to use what I have out of $3.50 I had left from almost a year ago. Shouldn't older money get used first?

Also I've posted before and been told that the xbox forums are not for this,that xbox support should be contacted. But they are the ones who sent me to the forums. Twice. So directing me back to support a third time will not be helpful. They can't be bothered.
Neither can some of the support moderators either. So I'm marking this one discussion (last post was marked as support which I got the run-around from).

Anyone out there experiencing this?

Ok i have the same problem i cant got into my xbox payment settings because i keep getting this error msg and ineed 2 delete my mom crdit card so please reply 2 me Please as so as possible
