    New Xbox Wireless Headset taking over my computer


    When I have both an xbox one controller and the new wireless headset connected via bluetooth, and then I tab out of a game (this has happened with a couple of games) the headset starts making weird beeping noises and I virtually can't do anything. I can ctrl alt delete and attempt to end task but it doesn't work. I can move mouse around but can't click anything. Only fix is to hard power down computer. Even turning off the headset does nothing and somehow my friends can hear the beeping in discord even when headset is off.

    Any tips? Is it a problem with 2 Bluetooth devices interfering with each other? Is it the firmware/software of the headset?
    Please help Microsoft!! Im hoping an update will fix this. Or should I just buy the dedicated headset dongle to connect instead of bluetooth?

    dont know buddy dont use bluebooth or wireless headsets, try going back into the shop where you got it from and the will give you a new one, and if the new one not working buy a new headset wired its the best to go buy if you want a bluetooth headset go

    I have 2 official Microsoft Wireless headsets, and 1 Official Microsoft Wireless Bluetooth headset and all 3 do the same thing. I'm not sure why they do this on my console but I can take my headsets to my friends place and my headset I take there doesn't

    Did you purchase the headset brand new or pre-owned?

    My friend had this issue a few days ago when connecting a wireless headset, the wireless headset would automatically get set to the second quadrant, and it would show a headset plugged in even when it is not.

    I found this post elsewhere, it may be of some help to you, but if the headset was bought brand new this might not apply.
