New Xbox Wireless Controller doesn't connect and work with Xbox 360 S; help please?

What console are you referring to - Xbox 360, Xbox One or Series X|S? What exactly happens when you try to connect/sync the controller?

For Xbox 360:

For Xbox One and Series X|S:

The Wireless Optical receiver doesn't work with the Xbox 360 controller. The 360 uses it's own type of wireless protocol. To connect the controller you'll need a Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver.

Thank you for replying to my question.

The Control Model number is 1914. This is a Design Lab controller.

I have already followed all the troubleshooting steps on the website as I previously mentioned.

If this controller is not compatible with the Xbox 360 then why was this not informed to me before placing the order or put on the Design Lab Ordering Page?

This is very important info before a person spends a lot of money on these controllers!

- If it is an Xbox One controller or Series it will not work as they are not compatible with Xbox 360.

I'm not a Microsoft employee, but I understand, however, the controllers made by the design lab are the Xbox One and Series controllers. Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 does not support these controls.
