  1. New Xbox Storage question

I had a question about downloading games and apps and how much space it takes up. First. I noticed after downloading only 2 game to the hard drive I already used up a quarter of the free space. So how many games on average can you save on your xbox at one
time? to me seems only about 6.

A second part to my question is does every game you purchase on disc have to download to the console or is there a way to keep it on the disc solely?

    :)

Question regarding cloud saves on XBOX ONE.

Likely a stupid question, but I can't find the answer in Xbox's storage FAQ. If I uninstall a game does it also delete my save data from the cloud? Also, is there any way of seeing your cloud storage? Just the cloud storage itself without having to go to each dang game individually?

    New Xbox Storage question

All games must be installed to the hard drive. Now, I understand that this can be daunting considering the drive is only 500GB, however you can now purchase a USB 3.0 external hard drive that ranges in size from 250GB to 16TB and use that for game storage
    for the console.

You can have up to 2 external drives in use at a time.

I just bought a new Xbox One and after it updates it showed my free storage at 327.9 GB. Are the update and apps taking up that much room and just leaving that much free? With NO GAMES it's 327.9 GB. Do you think I have a defective Hard Drive?

Your issue is a little different than the op's. For future reference it would be better to create a new thread.

However, without seeing your console and hard drive I must presume that it has a lot of stuff loaded on it. You should head over to Settings and manage the hard drive to see what's up. You can also see games and apps that you have on the console at My
    Games & Apps.

This is not the answer you want to hear. You should be able to use your Network-attached storage device on your Xbox,
no problem. However, You wouldn't be able to use it to store games or apps. ... If your NAS supports
DLNA, the Xbox One will be able to play media using the "Media Player" application.
