Game sometimes have reasonable prices on older games but in my experience for new releases they are always beaten by the local asda and have been for some time. I used to stick with game to collect reward points but I think I'm going to just pick up new
releases with my weekly shopping in future.

That's why digital is good for them, they can charge the same price and not worry about spending money on cases, manuals etc. The good thing about digital games is that they do eventually go down in price due to sales and lowering down the price. We will
continue to see $60 new release games in the digital marketplace, because this is the future we're going to get.

That's a dumb idea. It should never be sold without Kinect.

It was probably a sale price you were seeing. Xbox 360 game can still run at release price value for some reason. New sales are release every Teusday so keep an eye out for a price drop on it.
