New Xbox operating system update 10/16/17 fix

Hello gaming world,

I'm an avid gamer having problems with the newest xbox one console update. Every time I want to play a game or use an app the icons get buggy. Mainly, the app would not play making it hard to have entertainment. I have to press A several times before
I am able to play the gaming icon or app. It needs to be fixed with a new update rollout ASAP. Are any of you experiencing this problem?

Please make sure you're console is up to date and let us know how it goes with uploading new clips. To answer your second question, yes there was a new update to the app. There isn't a way to revert back to the older version, but if you have any suggestions

I've not experienced that bug myself, nor have I seen anyone else mention it, but if it was me I'd try a factory reset.

If you have all of your content on an external hard drive, disconnect it, then do a factory reset choosing the option to keep nothing. Once it's done, plug your external back in and hopefully you'll be all set. External hard drives shouldn't get wiped when
doing a factory reset, but I recommend unplugging it just to be 100% sure that nothing goes wrong.

If you have content on your internal hard drive, do the factory reset option where you keep your games/apps.

If your console is connected to Xbox Live, all of your saves will be backed up in the cloud already, so after you've done the reset your saves will sync as you launch each game/app.

Factory resets don't take long and are fairly painless, so it's definitely worth a shot in your case IMO.
