    I just bought an xbox one s and it is making a crackling noise from the back left side . It is quite loud and really annoying. I would like to know if its normal or defective . It it is defective i would really not like the pressure of returning it during
    these circumstances so is there a way i can fix it. Thanks in advance

    probably something touching the fan slightly when in operation, as its sounds like that returning would be the best option.

    i agree that it is defective, also it can also be a bad fan that is trying to start but can't possible bad fan motor. take it back and see if you can another xbox S.

    It sounds like a defect, so sadly returning it may be your only option.
