    New Xbox One S Connectivity Issues


    I upgraded my OG Xbox One this Christmas with a Xbox One S for its 4k abilities. Upon playing games such as CoD WW2, SWB2, and Fifa 18, I've come across severe lagging issues/game disconnections that my original One never dealt with. Upon reading on the
    different forums I've seen that others have had similar issues and that a few months ago an update was dispatched to solve these issues. I haven't seen any post recently about the problem but I'm having major "rubber banding" and disconnects almost every game.
    All other devices work fine on my internet (easily pulling 70mb/s download speeds). Is there any fix to this? Please help!

    Need help troubleshooting wifi connectivity issues with my new xbox one s. I never had issues with my original xbox one, but after purchasing my xbox one s I get signed out or disconnected daily. I'm thinking this might be due to having two xbox one consoles
    on the same network, but the issues persist even if only one of them is turned on.

    I have been having the same connectivity issues on my xBox One, but only since the latest OS update. My brother who has a xBox One S hasn't had any connectivity issues, while I have had it lagg constantly. It makes me wonder if now they're trying what

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

    Just want to give a update on my situation: I activated ipv6 on my router and my xbox one s was able to connect to my wifi. After a day or two I received the same problem again and got disconnected and signed out from xbox live randomly.

    I decided to try a wired connection to my xbox one s and so far I'm having no problems connecting and I have both consoles on at the same time with open nats. My original xbox is on a wireless connection. I will continue to stay on a wired connection so
    I can confirm it must be a wireless issue affecting only my new xbox one s.

    Also Chiming in with the same issue. Had 3 original Xbox Ones with zero issues. Upgraded to the S a few months back and had this issue so I sent it back. Now I upgraded to 4k so I have the S and Scorpio on the way. The brand new S has the same issue. Destiny
    2 will drop me out of the game and by the time I am back to the start screen, the connection is back up.
