    Hi so I just got an Xbox One S and I used the HDMI that came with it, I plugged everything in and started the setup and there was no audio at all except for when I plugged a headset in my controller but there was picture just fine. I didn't try that many
    things because I'm not sure what to do. I've posted this question before and there's either no response or when I get a response the method doesn't work, so when I reply and ask for another solution they don't respond. At this point I'm just desperate for
    methods and solutions to try. I would really appreciate it if someone could send me all the solutions I can try to fix this Xbox One S because I'm not sure if I should just leave it or return the Xbox. Also, I realized it wasn't the HDMI that came with the
    Xbox that was messed up because I even used a different HDMI and it still was all broke. I went to my General Volume and Audio Output and saw this message:

    "Your TV connection is set to DVI. For sound, you'll need an optical audio cable. If your using an HDMI cable please set your TV connection to HDMI"

    I'm using an HDMI cable, I'm not using an optical audio cable. Is this something I fix in the TV or in the Xbox? If it's in the Xbox could someone please tell me solutions I can try? Thank You!!!

    MW3 disk read problems

    Your disc may be dirty or the disc has a faulty or broken film inside which makes it unplayable. If another game doesn't work it proberly means that you have one of these Xbox 360's with a faulty or broken laser to read the disc. I use to have this problem
    and found it very irritating so I got a new, slim one. If so, then you will need a new Xbox 360 or have it repaired.

    The Xbox One S 4K Blu-Ray Player Is A Disaster...Good Job!!

    There are a number of AV issues with the Xbox One S/X and UHD Blu-ray playback, your guess is as good as mine if they will be fixed.

    Certain UHD titles are broken and will not play.

    Dolby Atmos is unreliable.

    4K AV receiver HDMI handshaking issues.

    Image quality issues, the wrong color matrix being used in Blu-ray playback (see review comparison

    in link    ).

    They could have broken something on the One S in their rush to fix the broken Blu-ray HDR on the One X with the 10.0.16299.4037 that includes said HDR fix.

    If the broken console is also a Slim, then yes you can just transfer the hard drive onto a new console. If it's one of the older 360's then you can't.

    Same exact issue here on the Vizio M60-D1, this is definitely a problem with the Xbox One S. C'mon Microsoft, you have GOT to fix this. I just bought a new 4k TV and an Xbox One S for this? It completely ruins the excitement of new tech when the specific
    features you upgraded for are broken out of the box. I'm as brand loyal to Xbox as anyone I know and this has me mad enough to consider returning it for a PS4 Pro. Acknowledge the issue and fix it please!
