New xbox, new question

Alright, so following a system failure on my xbox one, I decied to buy an xbox one x.

Thing is, on my xbox one, I had access to my step brother's game he had in his own xbox due to family share or something like that. But on the new xbox, I don't have this access anymore. How can I get my step brother's game back on my account ? We made this
thing on purpose so that we could play the same games...

Whoever actually owns the games you need that account to be set as the others xbox owner....so say if your brother is who bought the games on his account then on your xbox set him as the owner of your xbox

That account needs to be signed in and then "Set as Home Xbox" then sign out.

In order for sharing to work, his account must be the "Home Xbox".

After that, you can sign his account out. Then sign back into yours and you should have access to his games.
