    Hey all,

Im apart of xbox insiders and im currently enrolled to Omega and Delta and the new feature is not showing up for me yet.

It says my XBOX updated last night, but I do not have the disc to digital feature so does anybody know when I will get it on my console?

    Digital only console

Since you still can buy "non-digital" consoles with disc drive, you can still get such a console if you want to keep your disc based games. The consoles with disc drive can also be used to download games digitally.

As for getting a digital version for your disc purchase, that probably won't happen, as the publishers would face the problem of their game not selling anymore.

Imagine a person buying the game on disc. Then telling Microsoft, they went digital, get the download version for free, and then sell the disc.

The new disc owner tells Microsoft they went digital, gets the free download and sells the disc.

Then the new disc owner tells Microsoft they went digital, gets the free download and sells the disc.

Then the new disc owner tells Microsoft they went digital, gets the free download and sells the disc.

Then the new disc owner tells Microsoft they went digital, gets the free download and sells the disc.

    etc...

Eventually, the whole world owns the game digitally, but the game was really only sold once, causing a huge loss for the game's publisher.

So if you still want to keep your discs, simply don't buy the all digital version of the Xbox One console.

    Recognition from DVD RW Drive

Only the digital xbox titles that are part of play anywhere list are available for pc win and xbox one. Disc based games are out totally from this feature.

    Xbox one s all digital

Unfortunately this is not possible, but this would be great feature if you could convert your discs to digital. Especially if you decided to go digital only. I had to re-buy all my disc games. I just sold the discs to cover the costs

My dvd of an xbox game was damaged, would I be entitled to digital media?

Xbox has no disc to digital peogram, you would have to repurchase it or contact the games publisher about potential replacements for your disc or purchase a new one or digital

Transfer discs games to Digital XBox one s

    Hello

You can only play digital games.

The one that you can turn a game into a disc to digital game is a feature that a lot of people are asking for, including me.

I recommend the game pass for the xbox one s all digital edition.
