New xbox controller pc

Hi

As this is a new controller have you considered this could be an issue with the controller and not a PC/software issue are you able to try using and alternate Xbox 360 controller on this PC to see if you experience the same problems?

Known Issue: Some users are experiencing no button input in games with New Xbox Wireless Controllers (the controller packaged with the Xbox Series X|S) when
connected via Bluetooth to Windows 10.

·
Workaround: If you are experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest servicing update on Windows. You can find available windows update by going to Settings > Update
& Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you
may be required to click there to find the update.

Once that is complete you will also need to make sure the controller firmware is up to date by checking for additional updates within the
Xbox Accessories app.

To check your update history, you can go to Start menu > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View
update history. If your KB number for your OS Build is greater than the one listed below, then you are good to go as it will include the necessary updates. If you are unaware which OS Version you have installed, you can easily check this by
going to: Settings > System > About.

I will definitely be getting the new console, but will it still have compatibility issues with the Mortal Kombat Klassic limited edition fightstick? I had gotten the Xbox version because it is also compatible with windows, but after it powers on my new
Xbox One S, the light goes dim and the controller doesn't work. I guess Xbox One S is incompatible with the Xbox 360 controllers? I need some way of playing my Xbox one copy of Mortal Kombat 11 I purchased digitally on my pc? I'd rather just use the controllers
with the new Scarlett console and also all of my Xbox 360 games like MK Kollection. The controllers are excellent, but unfortunately I don't know if the new system will be compatible with pc or 360 controllers. What I'd like to do is play pc games as well
using the system.

Thanks, CristofKaiser, indeed with a brand new controller it keeps disconnecting, so it's not the controller. [Update:] now the controllers work on my PC, but still no news on the Xbox One.

I'll keep you posted if I find a solution.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand your controller will not connect to your PC any longer. We recommend going through the guide for

connect wireless controller to PC. The guide has many troubleshooting links within. Have you got a new controller, and it possibly not Bluetooth?
