    Hi, so I bought a new xbox controller about a week ago and ever since I got it, it feels slow and delayed when playing fortnite with it. Model: qat-00001 (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/micros...55.p?skuId=6430655#anchor=productVariations), its the carbon black color and it was released 11/10/2020, but I bought my xbox series s in 2021 so I'm guessing the controller that came with the xbox was a newer model than the qat-00001. Do you know if there is a newer model of the xbox controller for xbox series s that was released after 11/10/2020, or in 2021, or preferably in 2022? Thanks, .

    Ok i just did another factory reset to default on the console so i will test it and if this doesn't work i will try the offline update USB thing. thanks

    Try downloading another free game, just to test

    I have a Series S too, so it's strange to hear that you're experiencing a delay with the latest update.

    We could try couple things more on your console:

    1. Perform a factory reset but keeping games & apps:
    Go to Settings > System > Console info > reset
    1.1 The same but deleting everything

    2. Perform an offline update for your console. In that way Xbox system will be installed from scratch.
    For this you need a USB and PC to format it and transfer files provided in the link below (with steps):

    I already connect my controller wired via cable and i have restarted router unplugging power cords from both sides just yesterday and no luck. But i have not tried re-adding profile by removing and then adding again and also have not tried another game

    Yes i checked my other controller as well and both this delayed one and the OG that came with the Xbox series s is 1914 model and yes everything is updated including controller and system. I don't have any other games so i don't know if it's just Fortnite or not.
