    Hi everyone,

    I've been having issues with the new XBOX Cloud Gaming website and the Xbox app on PC when my system language is set to Catalan. The friends list and chat don't work, and user profiles won't load either. As you can see in the screenshots below, the friends panel displays "We couldn't load your friends" even though the surrounding interface is in Catalan.

    Could this be related to a missing or broken localization string somewhere in the profile system? That's just a guess, though. I don't know what's causing it.

    The Catalan translation also seems unfinished, with some sections still appearing in Spanish or English. For example, the screenshots show "Agregados recientemente" and "Los más populares en la nube" alongside Catalan menus.

    Some of the sections that still need translating could use these Catalan labels:

    • Recently added → Afegits recentment
    • Most popular in the cloud → Els més populars al núvol
    • Play with mouse and keyboard → Juga amb ratolí i teclat
    • Stream your own game → Transmet el teu propi joc
    • Leaving soon → Desapareixerà aviat

    I really like the new menus! From the Catalan XBOX community, we'd love to see these issues fixed and the translation completed so we can fully enjoy the new experience on XBOX Cloud Gaming and PC, and hopefully on consoles too someday!

    Is anyone else using Catalan experiencing the same issues with friends, chat and profiles?

    Xbox companion app

    This is 100% a fail by MS. The xbox companion app got a new update and since this update the streaming feature is gone / broken so MS have to fix IMMEDIATELY because there is no other way to play on PC with your Xbox One X if it is not a Gamepass / cloud game. (and of course there are a lot of threads here about this issue!)

    Thanks for reaching out to us today. In regards to your inquiry if the progress data gets saved on the cloud from your PC play anywhere games just like the Xbox One, the answer is Yes. As long as you have your Microsoft account all set up and you're signed
    on the Xbox App and you have been connected to a network when gaming your data should be stored in the cloud.

    This unfortunately does not solve the problem. I have went to a complete reset of the PC, wiped the disk, download windows from the cloud, set up as new PC, and the error is still there. Can't sign into the XBox app, and the windows store says it can't download "XBox Identity Provider". Spent 90 minutes on the phone with support to no avail.

    When you are in the Xbox Music app on your Windows 8 PC and you go to the Settings>Preferences, how do you have the "switches" set under 'Music in the Cloud' and 'Downloads'. It sounds like you are getting both the songs on the device, and the song from
    the cloud, creating duplicates.
