    New Xbox Audio Not Working


    Hello, I just recently bought an Xbox yesterday and I noticed that when I set it up there was no audio and only picture. I plugged in some earbuds to the remote and it worked fine. But the TV audio doesn't work. I recall my friend using his ps4 on this
    TV and it worked fine with the audio and picture. I went to my audio settings and saw this. Can someone help please? Thanks!

    Im not sure, Im just using the HDMI cable that came with the console.

    Are you using an optical audio cable? this may help with your issue.

    Audio stopped working

    Sorry, I tried all of that and nothing worked.

    However, there is some good news. I turned my Xbox on yesterday and the audio was working again.

    I turned it on today and the audio didn't work. But then I turned the Xbox on and off and it worked again - so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. The audio seems to work intermittently. I will just hope for the best at this point. Thank you for

    My current turtle beach headset with the xboxONE

    The problem is right now the connectors at the bottom of the new controllers are different, they have increased the frequency of the audio too (which equates to better audio quality).

    They are working on an adapter but there's no release date, but it's worth noting the Xbox One comes with a headset (even though it's a cheap one).
