    New Xbox app: am I having trouble or is it just bad?


    Today I found out there's a new Xbox app for Windows (existing Xbox Console Companion prompted me to get it).

    When I do get it and try using it I find that:

    • Scrolling is choppy, whereas it's smooth in the old one
    • The new app uses 3x as much ram as the old one
    • All while looking uglier (subjective opinion but still)

    WTF Microsoft? Can I just keep using the old app or will they force the new one at some point?

    Xbox LFG doesn't include MC Bedrock for PC AND Xbox

    I've got some good news and bad news for anyone lucky enough to stumble upon this post.

    Bad news: There is no way to access the LFG on current versions of any Xbox App that isn't on the console.

    Good news: You can use your mobile device to get an old version.

    I did this on android, so I don't know if this will work on iPhone, but you can search up how to get an older version of an app and then use that old version of Xbox app to use LFG. You can access it there, but they removed it from the newer version of the app. Also, this app's performance is significantly better than the newer version. I don't know if Microsoft devs have been struggling with drug addiction or something, but that's the way things are. I hope this helped you with your LFG troubles!

    ITV PLAYER OR TV CATCHUP FOR XBOX?

    The Xbox is pretty bad for tv IMO and I have one, I am pretty dissapointed with the new dash layout and the new apps which have been added, I find it's better to use any of the new apps, YouTube etc on my iPad or a laptop instead.

    That said I do love the Xbox for what it was originally designed for which is gaming and it is used for that daily

    I can't link my twitch account to my Xbox account on PC

    I am having the same issue. Twitch keeps sending me a successful login, but it just spins on the Xbox app. Neither Twitch nor Xbox shows the accounts as linked. The trouble shooting doesn't seem to have an answer to this question
