New xbox 1s games will not install

I'm a parent, trying to setup an xbox one for a gift to our children. Trying to pre load the games for the kids but some will not install. Came with Minecraft, that installed ok, trying to install Madden 19 and Avatar Editor both get stuck downloading.
Avatar Editor gets stuck at about 158 Meg and Madden 19 is stuck at 1.9 GB, another large game is stuck at 3.17 gb. Any help would be appreciated.

New Xbox 1s

New Xbox 1s, used app to install battlefield V codes while setting up, now can't find games, if trying to install on xbox says codes already used, any ideas??

Try clearing the cache of the console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds . Retry afterwards

 

That doesn't clear cache, that just performs a power cycle. To clear cache you power down the console and unplug from power for 30 seconds.

 

I'm thinking of doing a full reset on the xbox and starting over wondering if something got corrupted..

 

Power cycle the console and see if it helps at all.

 

I performed a reset, total erase of it, the same games\app still get stuck.

Sorry for the issue with the game. Is the game a disc or digital game? If it is a digital game, you may want to try rebooting your router also. If it is a disc game try and install the game offline. Go to settings>network>network settings>go offline. Once
the console is offline then try the install. Also how full is the Xbox? Do you have space for the game and update?

These are Digital installs, I have rebooted the router and Modem. also switched from wireless to wired connection, still nothing. 1 tb drive, new setup says over 700 GB free. Also, these setups, when I cancel and start over they always get stuck in the
same place, for instance Madden 19 gets to 3.4 % complete and stops with 1.6 gb downloaded, Avatar Editor, a much smaller app stops at 158 meg... other updates ran ok, MS store for example.

I found the problem, it is actually our Spectrum internet connection. I brought the console to my sisters house and the installs are proceeding. We have had Spectrum out several times to look at the connection, still not fixed I guess, luckily it's only
temporary and we will hopefully have a better connection in our new house.
