New wireless adapter for mac?

Hey I really want to play some games on my mac and I downloaded Fortnite on Windows 10 (which is on my mac). I did not download it through xbox but I am more comfortable with a controller than a keypad so I was thinking of buying the new wireless adapter
which is released in a couple of days. Will it work with my mac (which has windows 10)? Do I need to get the game through the xbox app on windows? If i need to, will I still be able to play with my friends on mac who downloaded it? Thank you so much for any

Xbox Wireless adapater stopped working and wired connection having major problems...

Simple fix: Get an extra long ethernet cable and run it to the xbox instead of trying to share through your PC.
Other Simple Fix: Get an Xbox One, or a new Xbox
Other other simple fix: buy a new wireless adapter.

Seriously dude, the fact you're using an external wireless adapter means you either have an elite, or older 360. It's time to upgrade that shit

Hello gamer,

If you have black adapter with two antennae (wireless N adapter) flashing green light this means the adapter is trying continuously to connect to a wireless network.

In case of flashing red light the adapter might be damaged and you should order a new adapter from the Xbox Online Service Center

As long as you're running Windows 10 on your Mac, either with Boot Camp or through a VM, the wireless adapter should function normally.

I don't believe the game is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so if you plan on playing it on the computer, it will need to be downloaded through
Epic Games' website. You'll only be able to play with your friends if they download the PC client as well.

If you needed DMZ before for the wireless, you'll need it for the wired. Make sure you set up the DMZ for the new IP address that the wired adapter should be getting. The change from wired to wireless should result in an IP address change on the Xbox One due
to the MAC address change (different MACs on the wireless adapter and the wired adapter inside the console).

OK, here's a thought, in the MAC address panel of your router's config, are you entering the MAC of the xbox hard wired or the wireless adapter MAC?

do you have ny MAC address filtering? if so, add the xbox wireless adapter MAC to the allowed list?

My router is a D-Link DIR-615

The Wireless adapter is internal (new 360 slim)

MAC filtering is off

I have already restored to factory default... but to no avail.
