new update killed my xbox

My xbox one just did the most recent update, last week {first week of June 2018}. Afterwards I could not pull up my friends list or messages or shopping and very few games.. I was playing one of those very few games today when the game froze and so did
everything else on the xbox. I turned it off and now it will not turn back on. I checked the supply brick and according to microsoft it is working, I have a solid orange light when plugged in. My xbox is out of warranty. I am sure this problem originated
from this lastest update, shouldnt Microsoft be responsible to fix it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you....NOT HAPPY

New update just killed my xbox

Was installing the new update on the xbox...got an error message to check my internet settings...before i could check my settings xbox froze...then turned off..and now it will not turn back on...power supply light is orange and the power button and the eject
button both chime when pressed but no power...tried plugging power supply into a different outlet with no luck...also tried plugging a usb cord into the usb ports and that did nothing also.
